Solacryl Collection

Solacryl is a collection of external marine use fabrics, designed to match the appearance of traditional cotton canvas. Constructed in 100% acrylic, it is better suited to withstand the rigours of marine environment.

The material is easy to clean and has an excellent UV stability. It is oil and grease resistant and available in two styles, each specifically designed for different marine applications.

Solacryl Coated – features a heavier acrylic coating to increase the hydrostatic head. This coating does not effect the external appearance or feel of the fabric making the cover almost 100% waterproof, yet retaining the appearance and quality of a traditional cover.

Solacryl Uncoated – is manufactured from 100% solution dyed, non fade acrylic fibre with a light fluorcarbon finish that allows the material to breathe. This is ideal for wooden boats and boats that are self draining where damp atmosphere will cause damage.

All Fabrics in this collection have an abrasive resistance in excess of 40,000 rubs on the Martindale Test (BS5960).
