Maintenance

Most stains are easily treated with plain water or a mild soap solution. To treat more difficult stains a proprietary detergent mixed with water can be used, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. It is important to remove all cleaning solution with clean water. Solvent based cleaners, dry cleaning products and bleach should not be used; they are unnecessary and may be harmful to the finish of the fabric. Covers must not be removed for washing or dry cleaning.

Colour Matching

Batch variations in shade occur within normal commercial tolerance. Sample cuttings from current stock shades can be obtained on request.

Composition

100% polyester, finished with proprietary treatments. Permanently moisture proof, stain resistant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial.

500 grams per linear metre, including backcoating.

Application

Severe contract upholstery (BS 2543: 1995), abrasion resistance in excess of 100,000 cycles. *Abrasion resistance for Suede, Tweed and Twill is 40,000 cycles.

Flammability

BS 7176: 1995 Medium Hazard.
BS 5852: 1990 Section 4 Ignition Source 5.
BS EN 1021-1: 1994 (cigarette).
BS EN 1021-2: 1994 (match).
Flammability performance is dependent on the combination of materials used. Certificates available on request.
